    @chgowiz @linux_mclinuxface To be fair, the 1980s were a time when it was assumed that computer programming would be a skill for everyone, opening up endless possibilities... and yet it didn't ultimately turn out that way.

    @pteryx I think the microcomputer definitely opened the door to the number of programmers now compared to the 70s. Some progress. @linux_mclinuxface
