While some companies move their business to The Cayman Islands to avoid taxes, Danish medical company Novo Nordisk decides to give USD 1.430.000.000 to Danish nature reconstruction projects contributing to an increase in biodiversity.
Farms take up 60 percent of Denmark's geography, and large areas will now be bought to create high quality nature reserves.
DK seems to be far more sensible than NL in this matter.
Compared to NL, DK nitrogen deposition is quite low. Here it is thru the roof but since we almost have a far right cabinet not a lot will be done about it (unless the EU steps in and cuts subsidies)...
