@jerry living close to the SpaceX campus here in LA and usually see tons of the new models as soon as they are available. (My street is flooded with model 3s). I think I've seen 2 of those in person ever. Seems like even his employees are ... somewhat sceptical.
@jerry Someone around here has one painted neon green. It was seen dead on the highway. This week I saw another one, unpainted. I laughed as I passed it.
It’s much larger than I thought it was. I suspect it’s close to the same length as my extended length Expedition, but I can carry a cat, a dog, 4 adults and a month’s worth of stuff in my expedition. I think the cyber truck can fit a few bags of groceries
@jerry if you include where normal heads would hold the brain I’m sure the maga hat skull has tons of room. The hollow part in a magas skull should be called a frunk
@jerry They are quite big. And I joke, but the bed is on par with other lifestyle trucks. Which are trucks only in the sense that they have a bed rather than a passenger compartment. I prefer my enclosed suburban-like used escalade (for the same reasons you seem to like your expedidtion).
@jerry omg, a black one drove by me on the highway a few days ago. Compared to the other vehicles on the road, it also seemed a lot bigger than I expected.
@jerry I saw one for the first time in my town a couple weeks ago. My initial impression is that it is way uglier in person than I would have guesssed. I think it had a business name on the sides of it, so they bought it for marketing.
@jerry there are a couple out where I am. They’re so ugly and annoying to drive behind in my sedan since there’s no window/windshield view to peer through to see anything ahead, just a Roblox-inspired hunk of obnoxiously reflective metal.
@jerry spotted a Tesla driving by... I feel there's one Tesla I know of in town, which makes me, "yeah sure, you weren't aware at the time you bought it." Heck, I pretty much wasn't aware. I mean, I knew he was a tech bro jerk... but that's not quite the level of evil that I would say, "don't buy anything his companies produce, if you can avoid it."
