I'm happy to report that the surgery on my was a success. New power supply has brought it back to life. Took about 45 minutes start to finish.

What do you think happened to the old power supply? Just failed one day?

This always makes me think of the impact of operating the Series X on its side.

@ne1for23 @Cloudscout I've had mine on its side since I got it, seems to have not hurt anything

but I only fire up my consoles occasionally

@robdaemon @ne1for23 it just abruptly shut off while I was playing Flight Simulator back in February. No idea why. I finally got around to fixing it today.
