@GottaLaff
Maybe medical debt is unavoidable and unfair but it does impact the ability of people to repay loans. Seems like more foreclosures and repos in the future. The fix is to do something to reduce medical debt.
@GottaLaff
How about raising the minimum wage and taxing the rich.
Enough with using credit to hide the fact wages are worth less now that they did at the end of the 1960s. This is the same tired old "miracle" that both Reagan and Thacher branded as their own - remove burden of the costs of living in a society from the rich and shove it onto the poor in the form of enhanced debt. The banks and credit agencies love it, especially those "whales" that only manage to cover the interest.
@GottaLaff An even more fundamental change is needed. Credit score should not go up with debt burden. It’s the most toxic thing, we must go into deep debt for a good credit score.
@GottaLaff it's an election year, so promises to me are just that. I'll believe it when I see it, but this is absolutely a good thing for Americans if it does happen. Election years so much gets throw out I'm jaded, but nonetheless this is a good thing.
