Remember: Trump's jury was made up of ordinary citizens — selected with input from Trump's own lawyers. The jurors were not politicians or members of the "Deep State." They were Americans who did their civic duty.

Anyone who has served jury duty has a clue and no excuse -and we should question any politician with a legal degree who “pretends not to know this”. Call them out by name- post basic NYS jury selection protocol to shut them up

Let's give Trump the benefit of the doubt and assume that, in spite of his lawyers participating in the jury selection, there was a 50% change of each juror being a "deep state" guy who wanted to throw Trump in jail. If he were obviously innocent as he claimed, the chance of a conviction under these circumstances is 1 in 4096. Trump's best argument is, ":Hey, I went bankrupt running a casino."

Being conflicted is not the same as having a conflict of interests).
