@alice i didnt vote. i dont think keeping people away from the fact that detransition exists is necessary, but it is incredibly rare compared to other regrets about treatment- most stories about it exist / are deliberately done in a way to scare people and misinform them.
detransition stories should be honest, point out that its quite rare and they should be a LOT more honest that a bunch of these people detransitioned not because they werent trans but because they were abused and tired of the abuse.
some even transition again later when they are in a better situation.
people should tell the story- but the whole story.
also i have no problem with this poll because it could be useful to see where fedi people are on this, but the facts certainly arent up for a vote.
