I'm not a "Linux Guy" really but I started re-evaluating it lately, and I think it might not just be for the Tech Weirdos anymore. It can absolutely be a daily driver for a lot of game developers now!

@ben I'm guessing it's the initial, up-front time investment? (which is fair, most folks don't have that time to spare, really)

@brody yeah that and the general fear of stuff that's hit me with linux before: drivers for printers, drivers for wifi,

@ben Fair. But! You can shove one on a USB still and at least see if the drivers are still an issue! YMMV with driver stuff, for sure.
