@randahl they were losing hundreds a day already, and they opened a new front, with the same "meat assault" tactics, so that's unsurprising, they still have a lot of young men (mostly from poor areas, mostly minorities), to expand, the war will stop when people get feed up with this terrible waste of human life, or the economy crumbles, but i don't see that happening soon.
@anderspuck I wonder how many of the eliminated forces are African mercenaries. Deepstatemap lists “African corps” as one of the units in this new attack.
