@lowqualityfacts EVERYONE who has a patreon self promotes it. I mean I have my issues with the way some creators use it, but if and when we start using it with out podcast we are going to have to self promote it.
@lowqualityfacts As far as I can tell, your instance doesn’t have any rules against self-promotion. My reaction to someone complaining like that would be “Block first. Ask questions later.”

@lowqualityfacts it's a common experience here on the fediverse. The fediguards don't like self promotion, paywalls, for profit businesses, and anything "capitalist".
