You can do timed/scheduled/queued posts on Mastodon. You write the post, then the system posts it later at the time and date you choose. More info at:

➡️ https://fedi.tips/scheduling-posts-on-mastodon

It's an official feature, but you have to access it through third parties:

-Apps including Tusky and Fedilab
-Websites like https://plan.fedilab.app
-Professional social media schedulers like https://publer.io or https://buffer.com/mastodon
-Self-hosted web apps such as https://github.com/scidsg/mastodon-scheduler

@FediTips Is there something similar for @pixelfed ?

@blag @pixelfed

Hmm... I'm not sure if Pixelfed has a scheduler built into its software, so it might require an external scheduling system?

Maybe @gs can comment as they make the self-hosting scheduler?

@FediTips : does it work for threads ?

@ladyteruki

I can't find anything in the feature's documentation about threads, but I'll have a go in a bit.
