I assumed the "we" was the overwhelming majority of us, the working class, those who are not ultra-rich, or even somewhat rich.
And I don't think the creator meant to say that the exploited are to blame for their exploitation. Rather, I interpreted it to mean that we should not accept exploitation, and should be fighting to end it. That a successful society would be one without exploitation (among other ills).

Their wealth comes on the backs of the working class, is the main reason for the climate crisis, creates poverty, hunger, privation.
@MikeDunnAuthor If in a famine someone hoarded all the food they would be a criminal. With so many poor aren't the people hoarding all the money criminals too?
