I googled "backdrops", then saw something interesting and refined that to "4k backdrops". Then I just picked out some images I liked - Mandelbrots, scenery, some fantasy etc. I might have switched to Images view at some point but it was a while ago now and I can't remember exactly.
EDIT: I misread and didn't underatand you only wanted mods from .world and lemm.ee so never mind . If you want from other instances tho you can hit me up.
I too have trouble eating anything solid sometimes. It's just too much. I couldn't digest it, I couldn't even swallow it. But fortunately, the supermarket where I live sells liquid food, basically like a milkshake, for low price over-the-counter. So I drink that a lot. It's not "normal", but it works for me. Cheers.
Also, what do you personally believe the reason is? Do you have any spiritual thoughts on this?
So, I'd like to explain my personal view: In older times, it was believed that spirits sometimes take possession of humans. These humans are called "schamans". That causes a series of symptoms, including: dry heaving (especially during the "initiation" period - the initial phase). This is supposed to "clean the body (and also the mind)". The stomach is seen as the "center" of the human (because it is almost completely in the center of the human) and the dry heaving is kinda "throwing out" bad thoughts from your most inner self. During that time, to not complicate the process, people don't eat solid food, because eating solid food would require greater physical strength, and the stomach is busy. TL;DR: Dry heaving is IMO a spiritual "cleaning" ritual, and not eating solid food simplifies the process.
Sorry, I am an atheist and a skeptic, so I'm afraid that is not something I personally buy into (I am not judging you for it, everyone needs to decide this sort of thing for themselves as far as I'm concerned).
I do have one idea which I am going to talk to them about which is if it could be something in my throat since there's never nausea. The heaving sure seems to come from the throat more than the stomach.
Sorry, I am an atheist and a skeptic, so I’m afraid that is not something I personally buy into (I am not judging you for it, everyone needs to decide this sort of thing for themselves as far as I’m concerned).
Yeah, I get that, and I don't want to be an obnoxious walk-from-door-to-door guy. I'm just telling you about my own observations.
I was in a pretty similar situation than you are in right now. I get the pretty strong feeling that there are parallels. I was an atheist myself when I was younger, but my own, personal observations and contemplations made me change my mind. So it might be something for you, too.
Again, I don't wanna be obnoxious, but I have many things to say, and maybe they would speak to you.
Okay then, no worries. In my eyes, the constant dry heaving is a purification technique that helps to remove the impurities from the soul of the human ex.1. So, you shouldn't feel too bad about it. One day the symptoms will disappear probably, and you will feel better than before.
Honestly, when you feel like you've consumed enough, it's time to get offline. Find your hobby, go for a walk, cook something good, go to a museum or a planetarium or a national park, live your life in real time.
It has this power because we give it this power. The second we step away, its hold weakens. Stepping away more often is difficult, but a good and necessary change.
It IS perverse. You're having your eyes groped by strangers, all trying to get you to do what you have no desire to do. You just want to get what you came for and leave, but no, everywhere you look something is trying to block your path and distract you from your goal. And it's not even honest: you already know that none of these extraneous, unwanted come-ons you're seeing is anything close to true. In some cases, it's a full-on mental assault.
It's vile. I used to leave some on, but now there's not even such a thing as "acceptable ads" anymore just because of the sheer numbers involved. So now I don't just block: I go full extermination mode. I'm usually on desktop so if it's a one time thing, like a single ad on YouTube that managed to sneak by all of my walls and filters and I can't just pass it by because it's stuck in my field of vision, I'll actually do an "inspect element" and delete it on the spot. But otherwise, if I can't block 100% or very close to it, I find a different site or source, or shut down altogether.
I genuinely don't think our minds were made for this level of constant information onslaught and never-ending manipulation campaigns, and I don't think it's healthy or life-affirming to subject oneself to it without limit. So I don't. People get angry about it, but hey, more for them to enjoy if that's how they wanna roll.
I really can't say much, because my wife does that same thing, I just have some weird issue with tomato. I like the flavor, I like tomato in things, but I cannot stand just having a hunk of tomato in my mouth.
Squid man, fuckin hell mate, you sure do overthink things. You need to lay off the dope.
According to the demographics I looked up, Rochester is 6% Latino, and yet almost the entire international foods aisle of the Walmart grocery...
Mate, I'm up in buttfuck nowhere in the Alps and a fifth of the world food aisle is mexican. Closest thing we've got here is the odd Spaniard. It's just good food, plus yanks have a fucking weird obsession with race.
Also, not one single bit of what you've listed as your mum's "craziness" is unusual behaviour, especially for a mum whose kid is clearly mentally unstable
Give her a break and lay off the shit that's fucking your brain up man
You have absolutely no understanding of trigeminal neuralgia or what has to be done to treat it. You seem to think everyone who uses cannabis does it for pleasure.
Also, what the fuck did I do to you for you to call me mentally unstable? Because my non-eating might be behavioral? Thanks, Doctor Asshole.
