And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.

Recently, I came back home after 2.5 years of studying and working abroad. Home (family, friends, scene, etc.) didn't change much, but I definitely felt something off that it was hard to describe. I grew out of it, I suppose.
I like to go on a bike ride in summer or when it's warm. For about two weeks I cycled the 15kms to work with my road bike, and it was pretty refreshing getting out of the office and ride the half hour home.
I really struggle with my mental health, and some of that is the weight of being a parent......
That said, walking in from a long day of lugging boxes at work and seeing and hearing my young kids running to the door yelling 'Daddddyyyyy' is pretty great.
As a trans guy that does want to carry my own someday, it’s kinda cute and the fact that people see it on their keypad will probably make my life easier when I get to that point.
We no longer talk to each other, he refused to test for covid and wear a mask to come see my newborn at the peak of covid infections, after receiving multiple audio messages of just verbal abuse I cut ties. I lost a lot of friends we had in common but I'm good now.
I'll admit I'm a little lost/down, it came out of nowhere!
Not to be a jackass, but I distinctly remember watching a video at the beginning of July about how he would leave in six months, and he even said his last video would go up on January 1st. It looks like the video has since been privated.
What are your thoughts?
I'm going to miss him as long as he's not making YouTube videos, but everyone deserves a break. Still, I selfishly hope he returns soon or at all, but if not then that's good too.
There is a toolbar called the Hypothesis toolbar, it's basically a browser add-on that adds a comment section to any webpage that won't add one itself. It just needs more participants.
