The average of all polls on the day before Trump's conviction had Trump in the lead by 1.2 percentage points.

Then he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records, and it has been all over the news for more than two weeks.

The result? Trump is in the lead by 1.1 percentage points.

Something is seriously wrong in the US.

@randahl Something is absolutely wrong here, but polling has proven so off so many times that most people here ignore them. Often done by calling to landlines and thus primarily rural seniors are polled.

@randahl @GPJohnston It is very different. VERY. Roe v Wade was overturned and the country experienced 4 years of madness with the orange felon. In 2016 none of those things were present.

10,000 residential buildings flooded in Russia due to extreme weather and bad dam maintenance.

I remember videos of Russians cheering when the Kakhovka dam was destroyed, and Ukrainian homes were flooded.

They are not cheering now.

Today is April 9, where Danish forces saw Hitler’s troops crossing the border in 1940.

The total nazi army had 6 million soldiers. The entire population of Denmark was 3.8 million. On the battlefield, Denmark was outnumbered by a factor of 2:1.

After just two hours, we surrendered, and for many years, the Brits mocked us, calling this “to fight like a Dane”.

Today, my fellow Danes are the 2nd most supportive of Ukraine, per capita supporting Ukraine 6 times more than the UK.

The results are in: In tonight’s drone attack on the Russian airbase in Morozovsk, Rostov, Ukraine took out six military aircraft, while another eight aircraft were damaged.

Just one Su-34 plane has an estimated market price of USD 35 million, so Russia is looking at losses of over USD 210 million — not including damages to buildings, deaths of pilots, etc. — in just one night.

While US congress is on vacation (again), Denmark announces its 15th military aid package to Ukraine worth USD 250,000,000.

The package contains:

— 15,000 artillery shells, 155 mm
— Anti air ammunition
— Mine clearing equipment
— Drones
— Radars
— Communication equipment

Because unlike Putin’s little helpers in Congress, we actually want to defeat Vladimir Putin.
