during the initial COVID outbreak, the thing that really stuck in my mind is how people would flee from the restroom when i (a homeless person) was in there, without washing their hands. i rarely saw this sort of behaviour before then, but it was close to 100 percent during the "curfew" era.

the hate for homeless people - and more americans hit the streets every month - has been encouraged by media for almost a decade now.

here in portland, the city has over $250,000,000 dollars it's been sitting on for years to help with homeless services. their only solution so far is to give the money to developers, so that they can build more apartments that no one can afford to live in.

it's too late to save this country from self-destruction.

i don't think it raises many questions other than, "well, do we roast hot dogs on the bonfires of our former cities? or Smores?"

soldiers came back from Afghanistan ENVIOUS of the Taleban, because they could kill at their whim, anyone who they didn't see themselves reflected by. Anyone even slightly out of the ultra-conservative middle-of-the-road could be taken away and shot, on the spot.

that's the vision of america they are willing to fight and die for.
