Yes, they are. In fact I made a multiple-page-long post (on my old lemm.ee account) to the lemm.ee meta community asking to defederate from hexbear.net. Fortunately now you can just block an instance.

Edit: to be clear, I am not criticizing lemm.ee admins. They have their own reasons to not block hexbear.net, and I respect their decision.

In Chinese it's called 南北戰爭, which means South-North War. Not as interesting as the Icelandic name though

Why does it seem like everyone in the comment section takes flights all the time? For me, flying on an airplane is for vacations abroad only, and I maybe get 2 flights a year at most. I assume this is one of those US things I'm too Asian to understand.

I did a bit of searching, and Korean really does use meong meong (멍멍) for barking. It's just that Korean romanization isn't that intuitive for an English speaker. The eo (ㅓ) vowel sounds like an uhh, and not like the eo in "meow".

Don't worry! I was also frustrated by the fact that there is only a macOS version available, but after a little digging, I found this on their FAQ:

Q: What platforms does Zed support?

A: As of now, we only support macOS.

[...]

As a general timeframe, you can expect us to begin work on supporting these platforms [Linux and Windows] after Zed is open source, but before version 1.0. Any news will be posted to our platform-tracking issues.

See also this issue. It seems like they have already begun making a Linux version.

Because the candidates get assigned a number at random before the election. The key is just sorting the candidates by their assigned number.
