Hey friend, there’s no need to fear the possibilities. If you are the person named on the ticket you will be able to board. Tickets nowadays can be scanned a multitude of ways, most airlines I’ve flown with the same scanner can read QR codes, barcodes and whatever the SMS style code is called. This isn’t about reducing options for you, it’s about increasing them. If you feel more comfortable with a printed boarding pass then they will be happy for you to do that.

But in answer to your question, there’s nothing special about the cardboard the passes get printed on, it’s just to make it less likely that you’ll lose it or throw it away accidentally. But even then, you can just present ID at the ticket gate, they’ll verify that you’re who you say you are and let you on. So what I’m saying is; give it a shot. You’ve got nothing to lose.

On lemmy everyone acts like reddit is dying and only the worst part is still there. and on reddit they are saying lemmy didn't catch on and reddit's worst part are here so reddit is now better .

I personelly think lemmy users doesn't just have that reddit feel where if you referenced something most people will get it or when you say something everyone will say the same thing and fill the thread .and people on lemmy seems to think they are absolutely right....

Reddit blocked my favourite app (Apollo) and now block every IP I use (proton VPN) so I don’t use it because they’ve made it too hard to use; not because I hate them.

Don’t get me wrong, I think reddit itself is a terrible company who I feel better not supporting, but I’m not going to act like there isn’t value to the content hosted there.

My ex’s family were (see: probably still are) Russian Jews who fled to Israel to avoid persecution. They then fled Israel when their eldest (my ex) was 2 years out from manual conscription

Can an average person who works a full time job become capable enough to rival a secret agent like James Bond or John Wick on their own ? ( lemmings.world )

If so what kind of training they would have to go through ? By training I mean the spatial and situational awareness, combat skills (this is kinda unrealistic), enough knowledge to turn any situation to their advantage etc....

It’s also way more doable if you quit your current job and find another career that will not only encourage training in these areas, but financially compensate you for it, too.

This might not be an answer but my worked also requested us come in 2 days a week. So I ride my bike in around 11am and back home about 1pm. WFH the rest of the hours. I’m all about malicious compliance.
