Germany Designates BDS as 'Suspected Extremist Group'

"Germany's federal intelligence agency classified the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement as a suspected extremist organization this week.

"This new designation will allow German authorities to monitor BDS activists and recruit informants within the organization."

Germany itself has become extremist once again.

Palestinians must die by the thousands, per modern Germany, to make up for the Holocaust, a German war crime.

Germany could have taken the high road and said to their fascist pal in Israel, "Look, Ben, we made the same mistake with you guys; this slaughter can lead you nowhere good. Let's have a talk, shall we?"

But, no.

Must kill them all. And silence the protestors. Just like in the 1930's.

If the Supreme Court of the United States gives Trump the immunity he is seeking, America has ended. Don’t over think it.

Gloves off at this point!

Subpoena Roberts, Alito & Thomas immediately, and make them testify under oath on live TV about their blatant treason.

But won’t Biden then be able to stuff him in a bag, have the military and the IRS neutralize his properties & ’wealth’, send his followers back to school and walk away?

Netanyahu will wait for the right moment then thrust what he hopes will be the fatal blow into Biden’s back.

He has no reason or imagination—being who he is—to do anything else. Why would he with Trump in the wings?

Imagine Putin’s propaganda machine come election time.

Biden cooked his own goose; he’s now about to plunge into the bubbling pot himself to rescue it.

Good luck to him.

Good luck to us.

The current American threats to sanction the ICC could spell the death of International Law. Whatever little hope people had for a just international system will disappear.

“…it is clear that Biden and Blinken fully intend to find a more creative way to press the ICC to deny Khan’s request for arrest warrants or, failing that, to withdraw them…”

One creative way would be to stop tipping billions in munitions on a starving population in the wasteland that was Gaza.

But then what?

As soon as the bombing & shooting stop, journalists will want to go in.

And they’ll want to report on what they see.

And we can’t have that.

Paul Abela writes about "The Problem With Living On a Chaotic Planet"...

Tipping points occur when a critical threshold is breached in the Earth system. As soon as it is, it leads to change. Put another way, a tipping point is a point of no return.

What’s so concerning about tipping points is that when one is crossed, it could create a domino effect that will tip others and set in motion radical environmental changes.

Seeing as it’s impossible to model and forecast the impacts of tipping points, they aren’t integrated into climate models. This is why many scientists believe climate models are gravely underestimating future environmental conditions.

So how can we ever manage the complexity and chaos inherent in the Earth system? A logical starting point is to acknowledge that we are not in control. Once this is understood, the need to embrace the precautionary principle becomes clear.

It is safer to assume the worst and plan accordingly than to assume that we can continue with Business As Usual and that a technological breakthrough will somehow save the day. Because the risk of assuming everything will be okay is social collapse. The risk of precaution is that we move towards a sustainable path at a more aggressive rate.

It is a no-brainer, and yet, the reason we are ignoring the enormous risks we face is the same reason climate denial is alive and well. There are powerful vested interests who have everything to lose if we make the necessary transformation of our economy and society that is required.

Earth is about to do to us what we've been doing to other species.

Scientists can find ways to model major obvious major tipping points, but they know they’ll be shouted down as doomsayers.

Heaven help us.

One notes again and again how militancy and extremism seem to take root most deeply and fervently in environments of forced deprivation, as was the case with Germany in the post WWI era.

Israel’s answer: more force and deprivation.

Einstein himself, without doubt the world’s best known (and passionately moderate) commentator on Zionism once said: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”

The erosion of memory is palpable as nation after nation—near and far, of every race and people—slides deeper into what Einstein in the 1930’s described as “the psychic distemper of the masses.”

The targets are manifold: minorities, ‘deviants,’ those rendered powerless.

The methods are manifold.

The outcomes are always alike.

We remain capable of reverting to our animal nature, it seems, both persecutor and victim.

And, curiously, we always consider ourselves justified.

Humanity seems not to have learned.

Or cares not for the lesson.

It’s us versus them—‘them’ being whoever those at the keyboards and levers of power tell us it is—and they must be crushed like bugs lest they crush us.

So the message goes, so the voters vote, and so the soldiers field their weapons.

It appears we’re not advanced enough to do it any other way.

Great technology, lousy ape brains.

And climate change has only begun to umask itself…

But at least giving a hint and handhold to encourage the doing of a little more “own research” is useful and something not seen much to date.

I wish other news outlets would act accordingly.
