When folks argue that players are in College for their degrees, and a scholarship is enough, I think of the Basketball players and that argument just doesn't make any sense.

All the decent Football players enter the draft at the earliest possible opportunity - and will change schools at the drop of a hat if offered a better 'deal'.

Most of the starters are not there for the classes.

I listen to Gill Alexander and his chums on VSiN because they are interested in understanding the sports they are watching.

They don't care about narratives and historical trends and all that nonsense.

I haven't listened to Sports Radio in probably 20 years.
