So let me get this straight: The so-called "originalists" on the Supreme Court have essentially given the U.S. president the power of monarchs. Just days before the 4th of July, mind you. The hypocrisy is staggering.

If the Supreme Court doesn’t like what a a president does, all they have to do is rule that the actions weren’t “official.” You’re saying the Supreme Court made the president into a king. It’s much worse than that. The president is above the law as long as the Supreme Court approves of his actions.
In other words: they didn’t make the president a king. They made themselves kings. How anyone who claims to care about freedom can support that is beyond me.

Reminder that Live Nation/Ticketmaster is a monopoly, which is why it can get away with providing awful service, charging exorbitant prices, and tacking on fees as high as 75% of the ticket price.

It's a big deal that the DOJ is planning to file an antitrust lawsuit against it.

@rbreich today I learned that the CEO of Alterra Mountain Company, one of the two companies in the American ski resort operator duopoly, is the former CEO of TicketMaster. No wonder prices have been skyrocketing.

@rbreich I always thought the corporate tax rate should be based on the ratio of the company’s executive compensation to the earnings of the average worker. The higher the ratio, the higher the tax rate.

Remember: The real freeloaders in this country are the rich, not the poor. The richest 1% evade $163 billion in taxes every year. The United States literally has a yacht tax deduction. Hello?
