@rbreich How do people see this and think they have people's best interests at heart? When people say Oh all politicians are the same, no sorry, they are NOT.
@rbreich Who among us would not agree that the sainted Job Creators should get the lion's share of the loin's share? It's an honor to sacrifice for them.
The problem seems to be that any opposition to lowering taxes for the rich is portrayed as one step away from raising taxes for the middle class. Conservatives have been told for decades now that all of their problems are caused by taxes, that all of their problems will be solved if they pay less taxes, and that all taxation benefits someone other than them.
To them, the choices are "lower taxes for the rich," or "slavery for everyone."
