I had to read that again.

The fact that certain instances are suddenly no longer considered ‘nice and well run’ because they do not agree with FediTips ideology is deeply concerning.

Threads or no Threads at the instance or user level should not cause such a drastic change in how you treat or think of the Admins running those instances.

We’re all doing our best, together. I choose to reach out my hand instead of severing it.

… my posts get inundated with bot replies.

… someone I’ve known forever checks in via DM and then out of nowhere ‘jokingly’ calls me a “dumb bitch”.

Yeah, I made sure he knew that was never okay and I immediately blocked.

That site is absolutely destroying people.

I hate that a few creators I really enjoy following are only on the.evil.site so if I want to know what they’re up to, I have to occasionally login. sigh

What text to speech readers do you find to be the most comprehensive and most worth your money?

I’ve used the free version of Speechify for years but I don’t use it all the time due to limits in reading time/speed and the voices.

I would like to use a text to speech reader in browser, on iOS, for books and textbooks.

I’m looking for new, preferably free/low cost, ways to help me continue learning German.

I’ve been at it casually over the last year and want to continue learning more.

I’m ADHD and have limited cognitive and physical energy due to some long covid stuff, so if you do recommend something please keep that in mind. Thank you! 🤗

What are some of your fav things to make with yours?

For me? Cajun salmon, roasted veggies (broccoli, brussels, carrots, potatoes), and of course french fries!
