When AQI is low, it's a good idea to wear a mask to protect your health.

But this could soon be a crime, as one of the mask ban bills prohibits masks at "lawful assemblies."

Mask bans will not stop crime. Mask bans will not stop protests. What mask bans will do is put people's health at greater risk, and make society less accessible.

Reading the Jewish Labor Bund Bulletin archives from 1948 and learning more about how terrible zionists have always been. They coerced Holocaust survivors in refugee camps in Europe after WW2 to fight in the Israeli military. They coerced donations to Israel from Jews in Argentina, or else they'd be excluded from Jewish institutions.

A Wave of Zionist Terror in Argentina We just received word about a new wave of Zionist terror in the Jewish communities of Argentina. The Zionists decided to raise 50 million pesos for the Jewish State of Israel. The donations are compulsory. Everyone is taxed in accordance with the views of the Zionist leaders. Several collection points for payment of the donations have been designated. Anyone refusing to obey the order of the Zionist organization is exposed to the following sanctions: 1. Without a receipt from the Zionist organization, one is not permitted to enter the synagogue and community houses. 2. Anyone without such a receipt is excluded from prayers on the Day of Atonement. 3. Members of the Jewish community who refused to pay the tax are refused wedding services; their newborn children are not circumcised. 4. Those who refuse to pay this tax are denied the right of burial on the Jewish cemetery. 5. All opposing this taxation are not permitted to be members of the boards of any existing Jewish institutions. The Jewish press in Argentina and Brazil has printed appeals about the taxation and the sanctions involved, succumbing shamelessly to the request of the Zionist terrorists.

The Zionist rule of force asserts iself daily in the following practices: (1) All those refusing to be drafted into the Haganah [zionist paramilitary] forces are dismissed from their work. (2) Camps are blockaded by the Zionists in order to facilitate the induction, by force, of those Jews of military age who otherwise refuse to join the military formations of the Haganah. (3) Night raids are conducted in the camp barracks and people denounced to and arrested by the police. It is hoped that these measures would induce the refugees to join the Haganah forces.

    Also interesting is this retrospective article on the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943, published 5 years after it happened. The resemblance to current events in Gaza is uncanny.

    But the world remained silent. Like the Poles watching the ghetto from behind the walls, the world took notice, somewhat incredulously, of the way "the Jews were beating the Germans" at a time when the Panzer armies had not yet found their match. Then the Nazis placed against the handful of desperadoes armed with pistols and incendiary bottles all the might of modern warfare—planes, tanks, big guns, even poison gas. The ghetto was burned—and the world was inclined to forget.

    The Bund did not have nice words for labor zionism:

These events would appear to make one suspicious that under a veneer of Socialist phrases the ugly head of a nationalistic chauvinism continues to grow. Whether the Zionist-Socialist majority of Israel can be expected to discard this nationalist attitude, the near future will surely show.

    The most important point of the accomplished elections in the newly crated State of Israel is no doubt the clear majority polled by both Labor Parties, which gave them a decisive role in governing the State of Israel and moulding the lives of its inhabitants. The question remains, however, whether both Socialist parties that won the elections are what they claim to be. To pay lib-service to Socialism or to call oneself a Socialist is not enough.

    Zionists don't like to talk about the Jews who fled the camps in Israel:

    Refugees From Israel According to reports recently received by the BUND World Coordinating Committee, Jewish refugees from Israel are recently arriving in Italy in increased numbers. These people bring with them blood-curdling tales of concerning conditions in Palestine camps. Here are some of them: One woman, T.G., told of remaining for more than seven months behind barbed wire. The mortality rate of children in these camps is catastrophic—medical services are virtually non-existent. Corruption and bribery are the order of the day, while Israeli public opinion is apparently helpless to change these abominable conditions to which tens of thousands of camp inhabitants are exposed. A number of people in the camps have gone insane as a result of hardships and frustration suffered there; an increased number of suicide attempts has been reported. While these conditions prevail, the Israeli, authorities are reluctant to grant exit visas to the many who apply for them. An exit visa is the dream of the camp inhabitants, but only those with "connections" or private funds are able to obtain one. Yet even when such exit papers are granted, the individual is not permitted to take out of the country more than £5.... It must be emphasized that these refugees are refused aid of any kind by Jewish agencies in Italy, such as AJDC, Hias, the Jewish Community Councils, etc. These people are considered "traitors of the Jewish cause" and their position in Italy is truly hopeless...

    But if you were hoping to go back to physical media, good luck! It’s almost impossible to find anymore.

    @parismarx Same with music. For mainstream music, it's often difficult or impossible to get a lossless copy anymore. Even many musicians that do have downloads available to purchase don't advertise them next to the "click here to stream" buttons.
