Climbing the step ladder, I poked my head over the gutter and mama Robin gave me a nasty stare before flying off in a fury of flapping wings yielding a big surprise. The gutter cleaning project is tabled for now.

This snow is a doozy to shovel but everywhere the moved snow forms crevices, it seems to emit its own blue light.

Another deep crevice of snow with blue light. The parts of the crevice that are closer to the top surface are a pale blue, while the ones that are deeper down are a darker blue.

Walmart hiked prices on its Great Value food brands.

The result? Its net income spiked 93% to $10.5 billion towards the end of 2023.

Walmart rewarded shareholders with $5.9 billion in buybacks and dividends.

When I say price gouging is driving inflation, this is what I mean.

Yep prices went up, fewer products are in the aisles meaning I take far more trips to market, they make shoppers run cash registers and bag groceries and, at Walmart last Monday, I had to go out into the parking lot just to find a shopping cart. Sounds like, “raise the prices and screw the customers to me.”

Tesla: $2.5 billion
T-Mobile: $675 million
Netflix: $652 million
Ford: $355 million

5 years of federal income taxes paid:

Tesla: $0 ($1M refund)
T-Mobile: $0 ($80M refund)
Netflix: $236 million
Ford: $121 million

Anyone else see the problem here?

Um, unlike the original idea of the constitution, capitalism doesn’t work equally for all Americans and the inequity is nowhere more prevalent than taxes, healthcare, homes, and yachts.
