I love black licorice. Developed a taste for it as a kid because it was the only candy available at my grandparents house. Now if I’m hanging out with buddies and I don’t want them mooching off my snacks, I’ll bring black licorice. I’ve only met one other person that wanted some and I was happy to share haha

The aboriginals in Australia have been doing this for centuries, so much so that some tree species actually need fire in order for their seeds to break open and germinate in the now carbon rich soil from all the burnt material.

Looks like we can learn a lot from their techniques as the world slowly gets hotter and hotter
