I've seen plenty of tankies "defend Russia" M8. Especially on lemmy fucking tons of erm. What rock are you living in. If anything it's mainly tankies,neo libs,socialists (like alot of you lot). I see get involved in this harry kissenger pick-a-side war-hawk bull-shit I mean neo-libs,socialists,tankies aren't exactly the brightest

Me personally fuck Putin and fuck zelensky. I don't care who wins. I just wish for a end to the senseless war.Stop the war stop civilians getting harmed or worse. And stop people's personal property and livelihoods getting destroyed. There are no winners in war only losers. And in the end of the day. You can mend broken infrastructure. I subbed to r/conservative myself I tend to like to browse most political subreddits left and right. I didn't see any "proving yourself to get a pass to enter" I just remember making a comment on a post about Tiananmen square on the anniversary clicking the join icon then getting 2 automod messages one telling me that I'm banned from justiceserved and another alerting me that I've subbed to r/conservative.as simple as that. I think you might be refering to r/blackpeopletwitter which uh I think this screenshot should speak for itself

It's funny Lemmy was created as a way to get away from "Reddit brand authotarian weirdos" yet Lemmy's creator is a "Reddit brand authotarian weirdo" and so is most of the main moderation team on ml and elsewhere you'll think that with there combined experience on Reddit that they'lld learnt by now that censorship is bad. But then again what am I saying with my experience with tankies and socialists I've learnt a lot of them aren't that bright

It's funny and ironic that the creator of this platform has become the very thing he apparently despises although I'm not surprised to be brutally honest commies do love their censorship

I agree with you. Alot of hypocrites in lemmy.world. Think that censorship is okay when they are the ones doing it and it suits they're agenda. I personally am of the belief that we shouldn't censor any speech. No matter how uncomfortable it might make you me or them feel. Any kind of censorship should be condemned including Lemmy.world and lemmy.ml censorship. I think that both tankie nutcases and MAGA nutcases have a right to freedom of speech and expression. but so does everyone else.

No tankies are authotarian left to be exact the term tankie is refering to those who believe in authotarian socialism (communism) they advocate for authotarian left wing policy's . And conservative views such as family values rule of law property rights populism (caring about the wants and needs of the every day man) aren't fascist opinions.

That's nice. Hopefully thanks to this outcome. More niche hobbyist community's will appear on lemmy And hopefully less auth left tankies I would like to see more posts and communities that bring more people together and not apart. Arts and crafts,Gaming,music,History,Exercise,Cooking,foraging Essentially the world's the oyster. There's a million hobbies out there I would hope there's a good amount of Lemmy communities based upon those hobbies

A history subreddit would be nice to see. It genuinely brings joy to my face to learn some interesting facts about the middle-ages. And overwhelming amount of Lemmy users need reminding of what happened in Cambodia in the late 70s.

His ideology is why I don't have any faith in him. Hes authotarian left wing. Generally I find tankies not to be the nicest of people and tend to ignore alot of historical facts. Like the Khmer Rouge! I wonder what happened in Cambodia at some point in history 🤔🤔🤔 The way they operated there modus operandi is almost like a certain other points in history
