Prior to 1982, the SEC considered stock buybacks to be illegal stock manipulation. But under President Reagan, stock buybacks were made legal. Now, instead of investing profits into people, big corporations use them to line the pockets of wealthy shareholders. They're a scam.

When I was a mere clerk for the 1st circuit appeals court, I wasn't allowed to have a political bumper sticker for fear of creating even the appearance of bias on the court.

How can Justice Alito be allowed to rule on Jan 6-related matters after flying a pro-insurrection flag?

@rbreich we hope, but ive been pretty disappointed in the voting population. The big "want" is less taxes but then everyone complains about a deficit, and the roads suck and schools are trash, it's freaking madness!

    He tells Trump he's about to issue his ruling, in which he will again find Trump in contempt of court.

    The last thing I want to do is put you in jail, Justice Merchan says to Trump. You are the former President of the United States and possibly the next President as well.
