My wife and I loved the co-op mode for 3 and were sad when 4 didn't have it. That being said, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount and diversity of content that 4 offered and just finished getting 100% in it. The story was a little meh but the rest of the game was pretty enjoyable.

    What is a weed vs what is not is a subjective thing and typically relies on if it desired vs not. Many "weeds" have significant ecological benefits with many species that depend on them, but we may not want a particular plant in our gardens or in our lawn. That would classify it as a weed, but does not mean it is a plant that does not have ecological utility.

    Frontiers has something like a 90%+ publish rate, which for any "per reviewed" journal is ridiculously high. They have also been in previous scandals where a large portion of their editorial staff were sacked (no pun intended).

    At least within a higher level education environment, the problem is who does the critical thinking. If you just offload a complex question to chat gpt and submit the result, you don't learn anything. One of the purposes of paper-based exercises is to get students thinking about topics and understanding concepts to apply them to other areas.
