And could i use it as a background image on my phone?

To me that seems like a good idea, alternatives are always great. Sadly I can't help as my computer doesn't have Bluetooth and I don't know rust.

For me it's the opposite, it seems like it's getting cold so I'm going to go ice skating

The frequency and duration of ad breaks is beginning to make me feel like I’m in that black mirror episode where they had to pay to stop ads from constantly playing. ( kbin.social )

I definitely consume too much dystopian content to be a fair dystopian barometer, but the sheer amount of ads being pushed my way is starting to make me feel legitimately anxious. It feels like a techno-dystopia where all of the neat and artistic elements have been extracted and then ground into dust for our corporate overlords....

Any other adblocker will also do. I use uBlock origin for Firefox, but there are many other adblockers just as good (or full browsers like brave)

I'm trying to think of complaints about how this is really stupid but I can't come up with any so I will have to install Wayland and try to get this working with my Nvidia graphics card (or not that seams like a big pain)

Looks cool! Personally (as one who's mother though uses Latin script) I find Arabic or any non-latin script to look awesome.

That so called "company mascot" on page 1 is so cute (-:

EDIT: the penguin, not Linus

When i boot up my (linux) PC sometimes the second monitor is all messed up. Reloading i3 with super+shift+r fixes it so i can't be bothered to actually fix it.

Maybe you could use pybricks (for coding in pythona as the name suggests)? It seems to flash the brick with new firmware but according to them it's easy to restore.
EDIT: apparently pybricks does block programing as well

I personally don't have a BOOST but instead an ev3. For my beloved ev3 I've been using ev3dev, which runs Linux on the ev3 brick. But from what I know the BOOST barely has any processing power of its own so something like that would (probably) not be possible for the BOOST.

Donate to Lemmy :)

Hjalamanger ,
@Hjalamanger@feddit.nu avatar

You could just go to lemmy.world. That's your home instance, it works kinda like an email provider. And if you (for example) use gmail you can access your mail at the Gmail website and the same is true for Lemmy.

But just like you could download an email client you can get yourself an Lemy client and use that*. That client will make API requests to your home instance to get the posts it presents to you. Your home instance in turn will communicate with other instances in order to show their posts to you.**

clients/websites you could try

Here is one list and here is another. Also note that some clients are actually webapps.

* you probably know this considering you use the Lemmy client sync

** Disclaimer: the last part about how Lemmy works is just how I think it works based on what I have read. I could be completely wrong.

Nice! It would be nice to see how "nice" you've been, aka the ratio between up votes and down votes. But that would probably require a login.
(Also we could take the up vote down vote ratio for the entirety of Lemmy to rate the content quality but that's a whole other story)
