Are Thule backpacks still good?

I bought a Thule Crossover eight years ago and the zip on it has finally gone. Short of getting a local seamstress to fit a new zip, I think it's time for a new one, and am a bit tempted by the Thule Crossover 2 30l. Are Thule still good? Is there anything else of the same sort of size that I should be considering?

As other people mentioned, an Osprey. I recently gave away an old shoulder bag by them that I got back in the early 2000s. That's 20 years ago! Still works, just didn't need that kind of bag any more. Currently have one of their newer Arcane bags, and so far, it's been promising after a year.

Ooo, I like how you use the IKEA boxes for that.

I'm partial to the succulent ones, those look so cute.

What destinations are experiencing "undertourism"?

I'm curious to learn about places around the globe that have a significant amount of underutilized tourism infrastructure. In many cases, I suspect that governments are propping up unsustainable tourism operators or investing in tourism with a "build it and they will come" mentality....

Huh, Ha Long Bay is a ghost town? It's one of the most crowded places in Vietnam, I didn't go there when I went because it has a reputation of a factory; tourists in, tourists out, on a schedule.

Well, I saw this coming and got a new 2TB SSD before 11.11 even. Though now thinking if I should have gotten 4TB instead. xD

Also, this kinda is like collusion, no?

I've missed this thread for a few weeks already (as in, I didn't see it). Completed Disco Elysium twice since then, amazing game! Very sad that there's not going to be a sequel; the world is fascinating,, as is the style of gameplay.

Great, so it'll take AI to set 16GB as minimum.

I still shudder that there are machines still being sold with 8GB RAM, that's just barely enough.

So so so many. Right off the top of my head:

  • Guild Wars Season 2, one of the later missions. It was stealth gameplay. I hate stealth. Paid someone 100g to run it for me.
  • FTL's boss.
  • Warframe's Glassmaker season fight with Nihil.
  • Currently, Ace Combat 7's Pipeline Destruction.

At a tech-based non-profit I worked at, we got a lot of donated stuff, including a number of 34" ultrawides. I ended up liking them more than I expected. I think they'll be fine for gaming, provided your GPU can deal with the resolution.

This may be my new home! ( beehaw.org )

I set up alerts on Craigslist for Freightliner MT45s two weeks ago, and something in my price range was finally posted a couple of hours ago. I was already preapproved for a personal loan, so I went through the actual application and landed exactly where I wanted to be for payments by adding the electrical stuff I'll need and...

While this isn't doable where I am (both physically and life-stage figuratively), it sounds like a fascinating project. Plus I really like to see how people setup their tiny homes, the lessons learnt in squeezing more into less can be used in bigger homes too!

[META] Creating a new community is easy, but to get people on board, you need to create some content.

If you create a community, please try and populate it with content. I see a lot of new communities with 0-1 posts from the mod. That's not nearly enough to get people engaged - users are going to see that it's a ghost town and leave....

HidingCat ,

Also to everyone creating a community, it takes time. Don't get too discouraged if uptake is slow!

Might be weeks even, this sort of thing really can't be predicted at the very early stages.
