Read it closely. It's making fun of petrol heads who try to justify keeping gas engines. Electric power plants are way more efficient, generates more torque and horsepower in a smaller package.

Then scroll this thread and you see all the same people doing the same thing.

    I don't think many Americans will want to go to the deadliest continent on the planet. I see a lot going to South America, parts of Africa and Europe.

    I'm not getting any error messages. I press the button to load and or refresh comments and sometimes they just don't load. I get a spinner and then nothing. Pressing multiple times does nothing.

    I have not tested Private Browsing or going back to posts that didn't load before. I just ignored them up to this point. I'll try to find more and run some tests.

    Update: I think it was the ye old language selection bug. I unselected 'Undetermined' and now the comments load again.

    I select "undetermined" and that chain doesn't load. If I unselect "undetermined" and go back to it, then it loads fine.

    Louisiana. Heavy rain is a regular thing throughout the year.

    Most mini split installs I've seen are not so low. The lowest I've seen is at least a foot off the ground until now. Maybe it's not a problem for them.

    Some people may not like them, but The Breakfast Club has been a source for Political interviews for at least 10 years. They're syndicated in 90 markets and a ton of black people listen in every day. It's one of the few venues to reliably reach black voters which is why politicians keep going back and why this article exists.

    It really is. But it's the textbook result of Democrats not voting.

    17% of registered voters actually voted for Governor and the Landry got in on 11%. It's the same across nearly all disticts which has more registered Democrats than Republicans.

    People are so disenfranchised and uninformed that they don't even bother.

    Many of us are not under ERCOT. Utilities in Louisiana are heavily regulated. I doubt that they can do much without running into trouble.

    It does not. There are no clauses in the Constitution that allows a state to secede. Even if they did, that lack of federal funds and citizen exodus will kill the state.
