Trump benefits from people's aversion to him. If you are like most, you just can't stand watching even 10 seconds of his hateful incoherent blather. As a result, we tune him out and kind of lose touch with just how crazy and dangerous he has become.

The Lincoln Project has a new video that captures a few truly horrific examples of Trump from just this past weekend. Watch it, take a shower, and recommit to making sure this awful human being is defeated.

A deliberate campaign to create a permission structure to support rightwing extremism for people who don’t want to think of themselves as supporting rightwing extremism - combined with the eternal mainstream media quest to demonstrate “neutrality” and “balance.”

@tzimmer_history Yes. Confronting a violent, proto-or neonazi ideological movement like conservatism requires drastic measures people will not like. I don't agree with dividing at state levels, but at county and on the basis of population size. If that means some people will have to be moved or face persecution, it's better than civil war, takeover and guaranteed persecution, slavery or genocide at these peoples' hands. Stare boundaries will be changed and the nations will be adversaries.

I wanted to see if ChatGPT could put me out of the job, so I asked it to write a funny fake fact. To my surprise, it literally just plagiarized one of my own facts. Nearly word for word. I'd say my position remains safe for now.

My fact: Penguins can fly, but choose not to because they have a fear of heights.
