I don't think it was wise of Biden to say he would not pardon Hunter before sentencing. Pardons should be broadly granted for excessive sentences. Will it be excessive? Probably not. But it could be.

I've gone back on facebook to check if some of my friends are doing OK. It's shocking how little has changed there since 2016 when I left. The same people are there, same cute baby photos, same ordinary interactions. But there are also creepy AI generated images (that far too many people take to be real) and all of the old politically charged engagement bait.

I won't stay there long, but at least until Nov. I feel the need to be maximally connected.

And maybe bring some people over here.
