It looks to me like Netanyahu's plan is to keep the genocide going until November, have Biden lose the election, and "finish the job" to have a great Israel, from the river to the sea.

Key word " "appears". Macron is adept at appearing to favour something (eg the fight against climate change) and working to undermine it behind the scenes. Carrefour is a premium sponsor of the coming Olympic Games for instance. Pro-Palestinian demonstrations are brutally quelled, etc. etc. Macron thinks the people are stupid, that he can fool them. His government is pro-Israel (they love fascism).

Since the first ICJ ruling (Jan. 26), I've observed that France leaders started to talk about Palestinian statehood, etc. but in the acts kept assisting Israel. What prevents France from recognizing Palestine? Either the government has no real stance or no clue, or it is working behind the scenes to help Israel. (French jets assisted to stop Iranian drones, for ex.)

a) Seriously, do you think that 190 dead Israelis in Gaza would not cause an international stir, given how the deaths of Oct. 7th were, and are still, treated by the media? This is false ingenuity.
b) the soldiers take the time to summarily execute women and elderly people, and then, they pile the bodies in a mass grave.
c) Gaza is not a state, it was a concentration camp, under control of Israel, guarded by automatic weapons.

1-Israel has no borders. It refuses to define them.
2 -Israel built an illegal wall around the Gazans, with automatic weapons and cameras every 150 meters. Gaza is an open-air prison
3- Israel controlled everything that entered or exited Gaza through check points. They decided Gazans will not be allowed chocolate or pizza.

#Gaza / Israeli airstrike on Gaza kills seven working for food aid NGO

Hearing about the Israeli airstrike on Gaza which killed seven working for food aid NGO #WCK, I was reminded immediately of Meron Rapoport’s post about how Israel is sabotaging aid efforts. See Israel's Policy of Calculated Disorder in Gaza https://kolektiva.social/@oatmeal/112133541637687094.

There’s nothing much to add. At this point it does seem Israel is doing its best to sow chaos by killing foreign aid workers; as well as locals it agreed could assist in securing the deliveries.

[…] "This is not only an attack against #WCK, this is an attack on humanitarian organizations showing up in the most dire of situations where food is being used as a weapon of war," said Erin Gore, chief executive of World Central Kitchen.

If we followed your logic, we should discard all opinions coming from experts renowned in their particular field, because that would be an appeal to authority.

Former Mossad official: Children in Gaza over the age of 4 deserve to be starved

My view (and I might be wrong) is that this Mossad man knows that Israel is forging new Hamas fighters by the day. He is very afraid of the boys and girls whose home they demolished, whose family they decimated, whose loved ones they murdered or injured in cold blood, imo. He assessed that under the age of 4, they are too young to seek revenge later. It's a wish to escape the consequences of their actions.

'The UNRWA is the largest humanitarian actor in Gaza and some 3,000 of its core staff out of 13,000 in Gaza continue to report to work despite the war, according to the agency.

UNRWA’s Lazzarini said two million people out of about 2.3 million population in Gaza depend on the agency’s humanitarian operation.

“I am shocked such decisions are taken based on alleged behavior of a few individuals and as the war continues, needs are deepening & famine looms,” the UNRWA chief posted on X.

“Palestinians in Gaza did not need this additional collective punishment. This stains all of us.”

The UN official added that the agency runs shelters for over one million people and provides food and primary healthcare even at the height of the hostilities.

Meanwhile, UN chief Antonio Guterres said that the tens of thousands of people who work for the UNRWA, many in some of the most dangerous situations, should not be penalised because of the recent allegations.
