I got to my FLGS rather late today, so the #FreeRPGDay offerings were kind of picked over. I did manage to snag the Dragonbane adventure, as well as the PF2E and Tales of the Valiant ones. I also grabbed a random mini-game, but I’m not sure what it is. I’m kind of sad to have missed the DCC adventure though.
It was Free RPG Day today, which I knew was coming up but entirely forgot about until Tina mentioned it a few minutes ago. When I previously looked to see which companies were participating and what would be on offer I don't recall that anything caught my eye at all. Looking again now… same reaction.
For those who went along to a games shop today, were there any events on? Were the freebies actually good? I'm starting to think that it may have run its course as a useful promotional event.

More first impressions: The #Dragonbane#ttrpg Bestiary is an unpretentious but lovingly written and illustrated book; it delivers exactly what you'd expect, a large selection of potential allies and opponents. It isn't essential, but if you plan to run Dragonbane it will add some great options and flexibility to your game.
