The dehumanizing reality of life under Israeli occupation, where Palestinian families face constant threats of violence from both Israeli troops and settlers with little protection, is nothing new. Nor is Israel's impunity despite the illegality of the occupation. However, the level of violence and its barbaric cruelty are intensifying. If anyone wonders how bad this situation can get... look at Gaza.
Gideon Levi is telling the tragic killing of 10-year-old Amro Najar by Israeli troops in front of his father and younger brother Ahmed in the West Bank village of #Burin. Amro was shot in the head through the windshield of his father's pickup truck as they were driving home after running errands. Amro bled to death in the arms of his traumatized 7-year-old brother Ahmed.
The problem with both solutions is that Israel won't accept them. So if either is to work, it will have to be compelled to accept. And that will not happen as long as the US continues to protect Israel.
#Palestine / More US Sanctions: Two West Bank Outposts and Three Settlers
The #US has imposed its second round of sanctions on Israeli settlers since President Joe #Biden's executive order, marking the first-ever sanctions on entire Israeli outposts in the West Bank. The sanctioned outposts are Moshe's Farms and Zvi's Farms, and the three settlers targeted are Zvi Bar Yosef, Neriya Ben Pazi, and Moshe Sharvit.
The decision is seen as a significant step by the Biden administration to address the issue of extremist settler violence against Palestinian and Israeli civilians in the occupied territories.

"Children in Gaza have been killed and maimed by Israeli forces at an unprecedented rate and scale. About 12,400 children have been killed and thousands more are 'missing', presumed buried under the rubble, their deaths unmarked. A further 100 Palestinian children have been killed in the occupied West Bank since the escalation. Also 33 Israeli children were killed in the 7 October attacks, and children were abducted and held hostage in Gaza, causing severe emotional and mental distress.

Israeli militant settlers have stepped up their nightly terrorist raids against innocent Palestinians in occupied West Bank.
Attacks performed by heavily armed settlers, with support of IDF and Israeli police has become a daily routine in various parts of occupied West Bank.
Of course US and EU have "reacted" to these by sanctioning 3 of their leaders, but now acting like their job is done and they no longer need to do anything.
In the mean time Palestinians losing their homes, their vehicles and their lives while the world silently watching.
