Can't win 'em all with vacation weather, but at least I have my sweetie and a big mug of Meng Ding Mao Feng from Rivers and Lakes Tea (and a bowl of oatmeal).
Happy Monday from Monday! I hope it’s starting out great! :bunhdheart:
Something I joke about is that ‘Mondays are a state of mind,’ because it’s true! Mondays are just a part of a week's rhythm and flow, and while you can’t control every beat of a day you can always work on making yours just a bit more fun! Yeah! :abunhdhappy:
Today’s tea is milk tea for a chill way to start the day! (The power of tasty tasty leftovers!) What are you brewing up? :blobfoxflooftea:
One of my two main strategies for travel tea is the Kamjove pot, which allows for a sort of hybrid gongfu brewing. Put dry tea in upper reservoir, fill with hot water, steep, press button to drain into lower reservoir/pitcher. The only disadvantage is they are glass and I am a klutz. This is my third Kamjove pot.
This 2006 bu'erh tea from Myanmar has aged noticeably since the last time I had some. The hui gan is fast and strong. While the flavor is even better than before, it's still no easier to pick apart than it's ever been
After a few days of hotel tea packet dust and watery diner iced tea, nice to be back to actual tea. DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong from Mud and Leaves.
Happy Monday from Monday! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start! :bunhdheart:
Today's a great day to try something new! Add some enrichment to your week! So maybe today you bake that cookie recipe you were eyeing, or check out a nearby park that's not on your usual route! Yeah! :blobfoxaww:
And today’s tea is up in the air, but the temptation to just have chai is so real! (I mean, it’s so comfy and my throat is so sore ^^; ) What are you brewing up? :blobfoxflooftea:
Technically this is a blend of the last couple grams of Yunnan Sourcing GABA Osmanthus Oolong (mostly osmanthus flowers) and White2Tea's Osmanthus Oolong. It's actually kinda good, a successful blend.
"Garden Grove" White2Tea Fujian black tea was one of my favorites from last year's spring/summer drop.
Wonder if they will make it again this year? The disadvantage to W2T'S relentless experimentalism, is you never know if they'll continue to make a tea you enjoy.
Happy Friday! I hope it’s going so well whether your week is starting or ending! :bunhdheart:
For some chill happy vibes for the day, here’s one of my favorite food YouTubers, Nebokgom! It’s basically daily life and baking in a small Korean cafe, with subtitles! I hope they can make your day a little sweeter! ^^ https://www.youtube.com/@nebokgom/videos
Today’s tea is cold milk tea! It's too hot for much else, though I wish we were up for making boba! What are you brewing up? :blobfoxflooftea:
