@rahmstorf Meinem Eindruck nach ist vielen die Dringlichkeit nach wie vor nicht bewusst. Das Vorhandensein der #Klimakrise ist akzeptiert, aber beim Wording fängt's schon an. Wenn ich von Krise rede, machen viele schon große Augen. Die meisten beschäftigen sich halt nicht in diesem Detailgrad damit und meinen daher, man müsse halt nicht gleich so radikal vorgehen. Da verfängt der Populismus aus Politik und #HaltDieFresseSpringerPresse. M.E. ist das in weiten Teilen ein Versagen unserer #Medien.

A sad day for Europe. Looks like I live in a Left + Green enclave surrounded by Nazis, populists and Conservatives. It's a huge setback for everyone and for the climate movement in particular. Very frustrating to say the least.

Das Grundgesetz ist ein guter Grund zum Feiern.
Vor allem aber verpflichtet es alle Politiker, sich daran zu halten.
Das bedeutet auch den rechtzeitigen Übergang zur Klimaneutralität.

Three companies (Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and ExxonMobil) are “Grossly Insufficient” — our lowest rating — on all criteria.

Das Überschwemmen von Hauptverkehrsstraßen durch klimakrisenbedingten Starkregen ist kein legitimer Protest, sondern ein gezielter Eingriff in den Straßenverkehr. Wenn der Autoverkehr nicht sicher abläuft, werden Menschen gefährdet. Wir brauchen eine Verschärfung des Klimaschutzgesetzes, um solche Eingriffe künftig als Straftaten mit bis zu 20 Jahren Haft ahnden zu können. Bislang stellen sie nur Ordnungswidrigkeiten dar.
Wer Warnungen der Klimaforscher jahrzehntelang nicht ernst nimmt und Politiker wählt, die den Klimaschutz verschleppen, darf sich dann nicht über Hochwasser wundern.
