20/05/2024 - Evening walk after work to the sea. Quiet in the dunes. We sat and had our tea. Nice to watch the birds coming and going out to sea. Small flock of common scoter, turnstones in summer plumage on the rocks and noisy terns fishing. Northern marsh orchids starting to show in the dunes now and dune brittlestem mushrooms popping out of the sand.
@dillyd there are so many different things that grow around here. We have all these weird little isolated microclimates, there's no telling what you're going to find.
