One of my best friends when I was a messenger had one leg. He never told me about how he lost the leg, but boy could he ride. It's not a solution for everyone. Since I had my fracture I've been scared to ride again, but I thought about him when I got back on the bike. And it helped.
I wish the bike trails in Massachusetts had better maps. What is nearby? Where are the landmarks? I keep trying to get an idea of where there are trails near me but the maps show - it's this area of town, kind of near a river or it's parallel to this road but best of luck finding where to enter. I want to see it on a satellite map. Where can I conveniently (and legally) pick it up? #biking
@LilPecan I've been planning a trip for a year. I've spent days on one state, looking at routes, landscape, attractions, traffic. And each MAP or place I want to see, is screen captured and saved, so i can use it wherever I am. It's easier for me to do that here, at home, in my office, on a full size PC, than a phone with spotty coverage on the road
I recently got to ride this fun trike at the math museum in NYC. Reading about it further, I learned that “for just about every shape of wheel there’s an appropriate road to produce a smooth ride, and vice versa,” as one article put it.
