Ooh... that's a really good question... what was the worst court? Or the worst Justice?

Dred Scott is considered the worst ruling of all time, so bad in fact it took not one, but TWO Constitutional amendments to un-do ( and 14).

Im pretty sure I saw this as a visual gag in a Muppet Babies comic book in the 80s! I think it was issue … I might still have it packed away somewhere

Zedstrian , to Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ in Table of various levels of piracy

Depending on the situation, up to for me. A caveat to that might be whether or not the creator has appropriately priced their product so as to justly compensate themselves without charging consumers excessively. While I had it in my Steam library already, Factorio deserves to be pirated for breaking with the standard practice of not raising game prices with inflation. Same with Sega's anti-consumer move to remove the Sonic ROMs from the Sega Genesis collection to boost sales of Sonic Origins.

Book Review for 2024: Arthur Gould Lee's Open Cockpit.

I listened to Gould's No Parachute last year and was drawn into the story he told, via letters to his wife, about air combat in WW1. Open Cockpit is similar but a bit broader and philosophical. Still a good read ☕☕☕☕

The new dark fantasy from Premee Mohamed is a quick read, but one that will linger, probably haunt me forever. Children are involved, but it is definitely not a children's story.

Most Republicans agree with "poisoning the blood" language ( www.cbsnews.com )

As Donald Trump dominates the GOP nomination race and some of his inflammatory comments find favor with the party faithful, CBS News measured how the public feels about his "poisoning the blood" language. A striking number of voters agree with this description of immigrants who enter the U.S. illegally, and among Republicans,...

Note that this question (#13) was only asking "likely Republican primary voters."

To me, the most disturbing stat was #19, the 50-50 split among all likely voters between valuing "a strong economy" versus "a functioning democracy."

He's a lawless, fascist murderer. ( slrpnk.net )

after St. Louis police unions instructed officers to publicly display The Punisher's insignia (the mark of a lawless, fascist murderer) the comic book community was quick to point out the stupidity, and the frankly horrifying message sent by supposed peace officers endorsing a maniac. So it's a good thing The Punisher personally...
