So, without in any way detracting from my support for the pro-Palestine student protestors who are being treated appallingly by their institutions all over the country (really, OSU? Snipers?), I do think Columbia made the right call here:
@ergative If the protest movement itself doesn't actively notice and expel people who talk this way, there is almost certainly far more tacit support for these views than is actively voiced. Police violence isn't the answer, but this movement is abjectly terrifying and reasonable consequences are definitely warranted.
