Image: a shot of the "health/ damage" section of the system Burning Wheel. Each column is different levels of damage you can take. :ablobflushed: I thought the Savage World health/damg system was extra.

I know some ppl might like this. Feel it is "more realistic to real combat". But its designs like these that A) get-on-my-nerves, and B) bring to mind the quote "Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice-skate uphill."

    @SJohnRoss I could see this being a potentially good, interesting videogame mechanic.

    Burning Wheel uses a mutli d6 roll mechanic. Which I usually hate. But we are using a virtual table, so that counts the dice for me, and now Im fine with it.

    If this health/damg system was in a computer game, I might not bat an eye. But no, the devs are asking my brain meats to handle it each turn, each session.

    For however clever it is, i think it has oversight of interest, patence, & accessability.
