America's 813 billionaires now collectively hold a record $5.8 trillion.

That’s more than the wealth of the entire bottom half of the US, roughly 65 million households.

It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to allow this level of wealth concentration to continue.

@rbreich If I ever get to the point of making $10 million plus per year I would still say that I don't mind if I have to payout 39-45% in taxes because it's nothing at that level. I hope that I get there and beyond and can help others to get there as well.

Robert Reich reports that the ultra wealthy have got even more wealthy, while the poor have gotten poorer. And yes, one option is to tax the rich. But if that can't be done, we need other options.

@rbreich when us minions get sufficiently angry about that imbalance, and the climate catastrophe it’s fed, perhaps we’ll finally do something to correct it. I sure hope we get there soon
