I had to pay for it up-front, out-of-pocket. The surgeon's office was supposed to bill insurance.
They billed the primary insurance, which rejected the claim as expected, but the way all this works it still had to go to them first.
Two months later the surgeon still hasn't billed the secondary insurance.
We're lucky: we can afford to float >$4k for months. People who can't don't get needed #healthcare or go into a debt spiral. #insurance
