@Schnuckster Something is very wrong. We've had a very close relationship with the council for a long time. There's no chance of that ending any time soon because it keeps the stadium viable and stops the council losing a fortune. They even did a lot to help the club when we almost were shut down a few years ago.
But I guess that if we had a rich benefactor building a shiny new ground, or had some dodgy deal with a ground being sold to the club's owner and then leased back, that would be fine. Little club closely embedded in the community? Football doesn't want such things.
