I recently donated my wall of DVDs to my local library. I kept about a dozen of my personal favorites, but they scored over 1500 DVDs spanning the late 90s thru the present.
@dillyd we’re lucky that we had a bunch of IKEA Billy shelves before they decided to stop making them. They were getting more empty to a point we almost threw them away and then the streaming wars happened. They got a second life, though the sun has changed them forever. For new stuff you can look up Nexera, made in Canada, pretty strong but it’s only half wall height (although no longer available at HD and seems sold out on the company’s site, hopefully temporary)
