Both my late parents spent time in care and the only way I felt sure was to visit every day, look at the chart, ask questions, take pictures. They really should have nanny cams. Your mom flexing (non-threatening) nurse muscle should help. As many visitors as possible kept staff more attentive. Best wishes to your dad and all involved.
