Just last night, #Trump said this about #abortion: "Everybody wanted it back in the states, we have it back in the States. And you work with the states and many of the states have solved the problem. It's, you know, really been an amazing."
@GottaLaff This is what we call “roeptoeteren” or “talking from the back of his neck”. In Dutch it sounds a lot better “uit zijn nek lullen” (pardon my Dutch again) 🫣
In the aerospace & defense industry when someone made a truly bizarre statement we called it an "aerial extraction" (pulling crap out of the air); if they continued 😳 we held our arm up to save our watches because the crap was getting deep. I've had my arm in the air so long because of Trump & his ilk that I now need rotator cuff surgery!!
@GottaLaff I see Trump is doing the old "states rights" dodge. Too bad that a) republicans are loudly pushing for a federal abortion ban, and b) Biden's push to federally enshrine reproductive rights is a much stronger message.
I hope to see the day when Trump chokes on his words.
